Xbox has taken an unexpected hit that no one saw coming. The recent trailer for TMNT: The Last Ronin was revealed yesterday, and the game seems to have kept the Xbox One off the list of consoles that the title will be available on.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is coming to almost all popular consoles. The God of War-inspired take on the legendary franchise will easily be a title that gamers and TMNT fans will be looking forward to. The exploits of Raphael, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Donatello have become urban legends, thanks to 80s cartoons and comic books. However, missing out on the action because you have a non-compatible console will hit the nerves of Xbox fans.

The video game, inspired by the epic mini-comic series of the same name, has just been announced at the THQ Nordic event leaving many fans of the franchise livid. While earlier this year, the game was announced by Paramount, nothing more was given away till now.
Both TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan and TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge are available on the Xbox One. So it’s only natural that fans wanted to get a taste of the gritty story of The Last Ronin on their Xbox Ones. The new development puts an end to their excitement. With Xbox One off the list, fans are also left speculating about what the system requirements for the game will be.
But there might be hope yet. The Xbox One, although a last-gen console, is highly capable of running even the most demanding AAA titles. The release date and more details are only speculations at the moment. Fans need to hold their horses as new developments may soon be unveiled.

The Last Ronin is a cult comic that is a somewhat grim take on otherwise spirited Ninja Turtles. The Foot Clan has killed all the Turtles except for one who is out for revenge. Now Mikey looks to tear down existence to avenge his family and friends. The Batman-esque take on the teenage group is a revered series that can make for some great mechanics in a video game.

If you grew up watching TMNT cartoons and reading comics as well, chances are the trailer will get you stoked. Not much has been revealed in the trailer except for a few seconds of footage.
The screen is barely lit by four candles and they are slowly dying one by one. The background of the video keeps changing, one showing possibly a village in a fire while the next scene shows a wave of arrows being showered from the skies.
