God of War on PC is on a winning streak!
To say that the Santa Monica Studio game is doing great would be an understatement. Because God of War is currently doing extremely well, thrashing its rival titles on the PC market. After receiving the highly awaited release for the platform, on January 14, 2022, the port has only seen an unprecedented rise.
Continuing its impressive performance, God of War, as has been mentioned before, just became the best-selling Steam game of the last week. In his tweet, Benji mentioned the ten best titles that gained the most attention from the players. And unsurprisingly, God of War topped the list.
Along with God of War’s PC version, two other anticipated titles also made the list. Despite the fact that the games are still a few days away from launch; Dying Light 2 and Elden Ring found themselves in the top 10. Their preorder numbers are already through the roof, even before the official arrivals next month.
Coming to God of War, again, then the fans seem to be loving the title a lot. This was clear from their responses under the tweet that Benji shared for the Steam best-sellers.
Hardcore lovers of the game showered praise on the port and called it deserving of the first position. Others compared it to previous PlayStation games that were launched for PC as well.
One fan suggested that GOW may overtake The Last of Us’s accomplishment of 20 million copies sold on both PC and PlayStation. The user emphasized the point that GOW on PC may boost the overall sales of the 2018 blockbuster title. And ultimately, there’s also the expectation the game might go on to cross 30 million sales in its lifetime.
Here are some of the top fan reactions, and memes, on the top-selling Steam games from last week:
Fire week for both GOW and MH Rise and both games deserve it.

I agree with you, I mean if we look at the last of us it hit 20m way later than God of War and this still selling well. Can't wait to see what God of War ragnarok will do.
