God of War and NFL Fans Enthralled by Sony’s In-Event Tease Announcement for the Super Bowl This Sunday

This Sunday will be memorable as NFL fans will finally see the grandest event of the year, Super Bowl. After the suspenseful playoffs, Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs will go head-to-head against each other to take the title for their fans. Surprisingly, this event would be glorious for gamers as well, especially for the lovers of PlayStation-exclusive God of War: Ragnarok.

Backed by Santa Monica Studio and Sony Interactive Entertainment, God of War: Ragnarok was a spectacular title for the community, which also bagged many awards at The Game Awards 2022. But something has come up which tells us there could be more to unravel for the franchise fans.

Sony teased a God of War Ragnarok-related announcement to be done during Super Bowl LVII

Super Bowl becomes a great event to welcome a large gathering and expose a wider audience. When it comes to the video gaming industry, the event becomes a great place to unveil a new title, DLC, or any game-related announcement that reaches gamers worldwide. With this year’s Super Bowl, there seems to be a God of War: Ragnarok-related announcement lined up.

The Twitter account Hunter (@NextGenPlayer) recently tweeted, “Sony is teasing an announcement during the Super Bowl this Sunday, possibly related to God of War 👀🔥 #PS5 .” As reported by the website MP1ST, Sony seems to be teasing a forecast of “Blizzard at Midgard” in this year’s Super Bowl.

As soon as the news went online, fans were nothing but excited to witness the announcement. A person said, “I hope it’s the TV show, they saw how good the ratings were with The last of us, I think the right time to announce this one ! (Personally I’d prefer the greece mythology rather than the Nordic one).”

Another Twitter user predicted, “They already announced no expansion is gonna be happening. It’s too early for the TV show to be shown And it’s definitely too early for the next game to be announced. The only thing I’m predicting is either the game will be joining PS Plus premium or extra or a Ragnarok PC port.” Another person suggested, “Amazon series casting announcements?”
