Fortnite is bringing massive updates to its recently released patch. Earlier this month, the metaverse community brought out their much-awaited chapter 4, season 1. With this, the game also announced some significant collaborations. MrBeast, the hulk, My Hero Academia, and many more have already made their way into the Fortnite stores.

Now, they are bringing yet another collaboration into the metaverse. In a recent update, Giannis Antetokounmpo officially announced his entry into the Fortnite metaverse. Soon the Greek Freak would grace the Fortnite stores along with some cosmetics.

Giannis Antetokounmpo x Fortnite collaboration release date

Earlier, Fortnite had given a hint about their upcoming collaborations. These included the above-mentioned entities like MrBeast and My Hero Academia. Among them was also NBA’s top player Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Finally, the Greek Freak from the Milwaukee Bucks will soon be available in the Epic Games’ battle royale. Antetokounmpo himself announced the teaser for the same on his social media handles. The collaboration bundle will be released on December 24 for the players to buy.

In the collaboration, there are some unique items that the players can expect. The collaboration dug deep in the Greek and Nigerian cultures to formulate such unique cosmetics. The metaverse community can expect Giannis-themed outfits in three different styles. These would also include accessories like back bling, harvesting tool, wrap, and much more. All these would be themed on the Greek Freak.

Fans are excited about Greek Freak’s Bundle

Fans couldn’t keep calm after hearing the announcement. After Giannis Antetokounmpo posted the trailer about his entry into the metaverse, fans showered him with positive feedback. Almost everyone is excited about the NBA star’s arrival into Fortnite.

The prices of the bundle have not yet been revealed. It is expected that the skin would cost 1,500 V-Bucks and around 3,000 V-bucks for the bundle.

This is not the first time Fortnite is collaborating with an athlete. Sometime back King LeBron James made his way into the world of Fortnite. Other major athletes like Neymar, Naomi Osaka, Patrick Mahomes, and even NBA itself have collaborated with Epic Games. Players can expect more and more such amazing collaborations from the battle royale game in the future.
