Ghost of Tsushima, One of the popular games of PlayStation 5, is currently hitting the headlines since the news of a movie based on a similar plotline is said to be in the process of development. Speaking with Chad Stahelski, the director, it is revealed that this video game is finally coming to the fans in the form of a movie.

Since this announcement, fans and gamers have taken the social media platform to express their excitement about the news.

Director’s Take on Ghost of Tsushima

Director Chad Stahelski recently spoke about the comic-book movie and commented that this project is under heavy development and will be coming as the most anti-samurai film considering the storylines. The movie plot will focus on the journey of Jin Sakai through the transitions because of his choices. Stahelski told in the interview that they are focusing on the main plot line of the video game referring to the actual transition of Jin Sakai with his honor-bound attitude.

He also confirmed the team has great materials for the movie where they want to maintain the visuals of the game and contain much information within the film. The team is looking forward to understanding how they make so much information content within any platform to make a proper movie from the storyline of the video game. Considering the immense popularity of the video game, Chad opened up about the team being in a real challenge to represent the movie as a good one by maintaining the fans’ expectations. 

How fans’ greeted the news of the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima movie

Since one user posted the news on Reddit there has been a serious flooding of comments from the fans showing their anticipation and excitement. One fan commented on the thread expecting his favorite actor in the rule of Lord Shimura-“Cast Hiroyuki Sanada as Lord Shimura.” 

Many of the fans also commented Stating their anticipations about the movie-“So then it won’t be accurate to my playthrough. Where the story is nonstop blaming Jin Sakai for using stilt techniques despite me actively avoiding every tool and facing everyone head on.” There were some more comments that were hinting at words the expectations of the fans about the character making in the movie— “Is the original actor for Jin staying Jin? If not that would be a mistake.”
