The 1.5 update for Genshin Impact has brought a lot of changes for players to enjoy. It introduced the long-awaited housing system to the game. Moreover, miHoYo introduced new enemies to make the game more challenging for the users.
In addition to that, developers further introduced two new artifacts. The two new artifacts will be Tenacity of the Millelith and Pale Flame. Pale Flame artifact is a new artifact designed for physical damage dealers. Now the question arises: is grinding Pale Flame artifacts worth your investment or you should just stick to previous options?

The best artifacts for physical damage dealer in Genshin Impact
The best artifact choice for any physical damage dealer before the 1.5 update was 4 piece set of Gladiator or 2 piece set of Bloodstained Chivalry and Gladiator. However, after the 1.5 update miHoYo introduced the Pale Flame set, which is also becoming an amazing candidate on this list.
Pale Flame is the new artifact that will come in 1.5 and focuses on physical damage dealers. The two-piece set of this artifact will increase physical damage by 25%; whereas the four-piece set will increase ATK by 9% for seven seconds whenever the wielder’s elemental skill hits an opponent. Furthermore, this effect stacks up to two times and can occur every 0.3 seconds. Interestingly, the two-piece set effect is increased by 100% upon reaching two stacks.
In the case of Gladiator artifact, the 2 piece set of the artifacts offers an increase in ATK by 18%. Moreover, the 4 piece set increases the Normal ATK by 35% for the sword, claymore, and polearm users. However, most player loves to use the 2 piece set of Bloodstained Chivalry and Gladiator. It gives an 18% ATK bonus and a 25% physical damage bonus.
Which one is a better choice for physical damage dealers?
All three artifacts are very good for physical damage dealers. Gladiator and Bloodstained Chivalry artifact help a lot in increasing a character’s normal and charged attack. In case you want your damage dealer to hit big numbers through their normal attack, then going with the 4-piece set of Gladiator or 2-piece set of Bloodstained Chivalry and Gladiator is a more preferable choice.

On the flip side, the 2-piece set of Pale Flame provides the same bonus as 2 piece set of Bloodstained Chivalry artifacts. What makes them differ from each other is the 4 set bonuses they provide. The 4 piece set of Bloodstained increases Charged Attack DMG by 50% and reduces its Stamina cost to zero for 10 seconds after defeating an opponent.

On the other hand, you have to rely on your elemental skill to get the full bonus of the Pale Flame artifact. This gives the artifact an enormous disadvantage over others. As a physical damage dealer, most damage must come from their normal attack. However, in the case of the Pale Frame artifact, you have to spam the character’s elemental skill. If you are fine with using elemental skills, then Pale Flame is a significant choice for you.
