It looks like the current update for Genshin Impact is taking us on a nostalgic trip. miHoYo first brought lost riches, Seelie treasure hunt, granting new players a chance to pick up a pet Seelie. This event made its debut earlier in the year and it looks like the next major event will be Theater Mechanicus. This event contained a fun tower defense gameplay, centered on elemental reaction.

However, this time around the studio has added few changes that the community will definitely love.

miHoYo has added new towers in Theater Mechanicus event of Genshin Impact

Through an official blog post, the studio shared all the details about the event. Travelers with an adventure rank lower than 30 won’t be able to take part. It will start from August 12th and will go on till August 26th. The event’s shop will remain open till August 30th, allowing players to spend event currency on items.

Much like its first iteration, this version of Theater Mechanicus will be exactly the same. However, the studio has added a couple of new towers that weren’t part of the event. Gamers will have to mount an attack on marching enemies by carefully placing various elemental towers. Exactly like its previous iterations, players cannot inflict damage or use elemental bursts during the event. Everyone must rely on elemental reaction and the combination of powerful towers to beat the challenging stages.
