The world of Genshin Impact has evolved a lot over the last year. From only witnessing the storyline of a single nation to adding two more landscapes, the game has truly come a long way. This has also greatly expanded the tiny roster of the title by adding a myriad of new characters.
Among them, Bennett has been a constant favorite support unit of the community, as his insane utilities can empower any team. This fact alone makes him a peerless unit that cannot be placed on any tier list. Now, with the addition of the Inazuma region, a brand new support 4-star character has turned up with immense potential. Is Sara Kujou on par with Mondstadt’s young adventurer Bennett?

How good is Sara Kujou in Genshin Impact as compared to Bennett?
Sara has been designed to be a sub-DPS support unit with more focus on buffing other characters. She has two abilities that can buff other party members’ basic attacks, but they do not stack with each other. Exactly like Benny, her attack buffs regarding both her elemental skill and her burst are based on her basic attack. This means you do not have to build artifacts and other things on her at all.
Just invest in a strong bow that can take her basic attack to abysmal levels in order to churn out insane damage. You can use both abilities in conjunction to constantly buff your on-field character.
And she is indeed a fine support character, who buffs her teammates more than Bennett can. Sadly, the time limit with a high cooldown significantly hurts capabilities. This definitely makes Bennett still the far superior character in terms of offering buff and attack boost to the teammates.

However, it does not mean that Sara cannot be paired with other units. She is a unique character that can buff electro units to new heights of damage burst capabilities. Her max constellation offers a straight-up 60% attack boost to electro damage, and it makes her the perfect support for electro DPS characters like Keqing, and Shogun.

Bennett at max constellation also buffs pyro characters to new heights of damage burst with Pyro infusion. The best pairing for both characters is with their own elemental units.
