New event in Genshin Impact
Hypostatic Symphony will start from January 16 and end on January 31. Each day during this period, a new challenge will be unlocked for the players. On the last day, all seven challenges will unlock at once.
Furthermore, each challenge will give some characters event-exclusive bonuses. Players can attempt the challenges both in a single player mode or in co-op mode.
“Variations” have been added to the game
Players will have to select the difficulty level and special combat effects before starting the challenge known as “Variations.” After completing the challenge, travelers will receive points entirely based on the difficulty and Variations they choose.
Variation will affect the awards that players get after completing the challenge. There will be four difficulty levels: easy, normal, hard, and expert.
In a recent blog, miHoYo stated,” A variety of buffs and debuffs are included. Variations that increase the difficulty increase the points awarded on completion, while those that buff your characters have the opposite effect. At the start of the challenge, you can choose the Variations that suit your desired intensity.”

About the rewards and primogems
Players can claim 60 primogems for each challenge they complete on the first attempt. There will be seven challenges, meaning players can get about 420 primogems for free just by completing the challenge. The amount of primogems will be same for all difficulty levels user select. Aside from primogems, players can claim further rewards once they reach the target score.
