Fans of Genshin Impact and Sonic Frontiers exchange responses before The Game Awards 2022
Now, Genshin Impact and Sonic Frontiers have been two of the most popular games in the community. The graphical interface and immersive action-adventure gameplay have stoked the fans with their prowess. However, in the awards, only one can outbest the other. And it seems the fans are kind of in a battle with regard to alleged bot voting.
Recently, the Twitter user Sonic Frontiers (@SonicFrontiers6) tweeted, “Genshin players admitting to cheating and rigging the system. This man was bold af to say this publicly. Anything you wanna say Genshin players?” To see the photographic representation, one can refer to the tweet below:

Ya'll it's not just Genshin cheating.
This has been a massive embarrassment on both the franchise AND fandom. I want Sonic to either win legit or lose with dignity, not this bs #SonicSweep #GameAwards #SonicFrontiers

Sonic fans are cheating too, bro you got NO moral highground here

That's odd, why he is admitting that he's cheating to get the votes?
— Ivan Lugo (@IvanELugoP) December 7, 2022
We ain’t botting.
We won’t not.
We do it for Sonic Team, Kishimoto.
He brought us a game the made us join hands.
Now we will have even better game.
Genshin will use the same formula gambling. They need a AAA sequel.

The one thing that gives me hope that this is false is the fact that he stated this publicly. If he truly did create a bot that would give 5 votes to Genshin for every 1 Sonic vote, I don't see why he'd need anyone else to run it. Genshin would still get more votes than Sonic.

at this point i think both did, and the best would be to disqualify both for both fandoms' attitude

Moreover, a user tweeted to sum it up by saying, “Someone send this to the staff at the GMAs so they can investigate.” Also, it is to be said in totality that nothing concrete as per the bot voting has surfaced. Due to this, this only becomes an alleged kind.
It is important to note that the Twitter user tweeted, “I’m tired as hell and running on like, no sleep right now but I’m correcting myself: I believe this is a troll and I didn’t put that into consideration till late last night. If anything this tweet was a “in the moment” tweet.” However, in the above reactions, one can totally look at the reactions of the community to the surfaced news. Hence, only time shall unveil what lies ahead in the future.
