For those who don’t have an idea about it, aim assist is used in many games to help the players to take their aim properly at the target. On controllers, it’s pretty difficult to quick aim but on mouse and keyboard, the process becomes much easier. Many PC games these days offer the option to enable aim assist if a player wants it.
Recently, renowned streamer and gamer ModernWarzone took to Twitter to drop an interesting video. While sharing it, he mentioned that aim assist has grown infinitely in recent years. The clip posted by him featured a brief sequence from Apex Legends where a player was seen taking their aim at the opponent who was moving. Surprisingly, though, the alleged aim assist was also tracking the enemy precisely. Eventually, it enabled the player to take down their opponent.

However, this video attracted a lot of polarizing reactions. While some people thought it was actually the aim assist doing the job, others had completely different opinions.
They tried to explain to ModernWarzone, that such kind of aim assist is simply not possible to achieve in Apex Legends. And that it was not possible at all in the first place. They claimed that the player in the clip was, in fact, using some kind of cheating software. “This is not normal Apex aim assist. This is cronus assisted 100%. CoD is the only game with aim assist on this level”, wrote an individual.

This is not how aim assist works and I see @ModernWarzone posting the follow up video. Literally all you have to do is open apex and try it out yourself. It is literally not that strong at all.
