Good news for all the fans looking to get hold of a PlayStation 5 Console! GameStop stores are about to get a decent amount of restocks for PS5 consoles. However, the same pieces will be sold at a somewhat inflated price. The consoles will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis and will include the disc console, along with a bundle of the latest games and Power A PS5 DualSense charging station.

New PlayStation 5 drops arriving soon at GameStop
As reported by The Shortcut, GameStop will probably receive around 60 pieces of PS5 Disc Consoles as bundles for this week’s drop. The games that will be included in the bundle are Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, along with an additional PS5 controller and PowerA PS5 DualSense charge station.
The Shortcut also reports that GameStop has permitted their employees to start spreading the news about this apparent restock this weekend, which means interested people should begin contacting their local GameStop retailer about the console’s availability. This was further affirmed through an image as spotted by The Shortcut.
Players can enter their city and zip code on GameStop’s website to check whether local stores are participating in this restock.
Players in the United States can further register with Sony to have more options for purchasing PS5 consoles directly from PlayStation in this holiday season. Currently, Sony is offering a limited number of PS5 consoles to their customers for the holiday season.

PlayStation is bringing out their subscription service
PlayStation plans to compete with the immensely successful gaming subscription service Xbox GamePass by launching one of its own. Bloomberg reports that this new, upcoming subscription service has been codenamed ‘Spartacus’ and combined with the current PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now services.
The expected period of launch for this upcoming subscription service is next spring. It will be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and structured around three payment tiers. The benefits for the first tier include online play and a large library of free titles every month. The second tier extends the catalog of games in a similar fashion as Xbox GamePass. The third tier will finally bring in backward compatibility as players can enjoy some of the classics from PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP.
