With Gamescom looming over the last weeks of August, gaming fans are looking forward to a host of new releases. While major publishers like PlayStation and Nintendo were absent, Gamescom 2021 will still feature a star-studded lineup. One of the big names that will be in attendance at the event is Bandai Namco.

Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. is a Japanese multinational video game publisher headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo. The developer is known for its works on multi-million dollar franchises like Dark Souls, Pac-Man, Gundam, etc. Now, on August 25, Bandai Namco will get the chance to update their fans with their latest works.

What new content will Banda Namco announce at Gamescom 2021?

The Japanese developer has already announced that it will be working alongside ILCA on a new ‘Ace Combat’ title. This announcement was made on August 18th on a stream celebrating 25 years of the franchise. Series producer Kazutoki Kono ended the online retrospective event by saying, “More than anything, I hope fans are happy to know that the next game is underway. With this new staff, we’re creating a new Ace Combat, a new era. I don’t know where we’ll be in the next 25 years, but the Ace Combat series will continue, and to everyone who supports us and creates with me, I will continue to give it my all.”

Although it may be too early to showcase details about the new game, the developer will surely give fans a glimpse of the free Japan Air Self-Defence Force aircraft skins being released for Ace Combat 7 on August 31.

Tales of arise is another Bandai Namco title that has gained steam lately. This is the 17th entry of the famous Tales of Series developed by Bandai Namco. It features six playable characters: Alphen, Shionne, Rinwell, Law, Kisara, and Dohalim. Each of these characters has a unique playstyle and set of skills. The offical demo for the game released two days ago for PlayStation consoles. Thus, we can expect Bandai Namco to reveal the official game at Gamescom.
