Gamescom is the biggest gaming convention of the year alongside events like E3 and BlizzCon. Similar to last year, the event is returning in digital form and completely free of charge. The event will kick off with and exclusive presentation from Xbox and Bethesda on August 24, 2021 at 1 PM EST. F0llowing this, on August 25, 2021, Gamescom: Opening Night Live will stream at 2 PM EST.
Xbox and Bethesda will once again showcase what they have been working on this year. Halo Infinite has been the talk of 2021 in the gaming community and we would not be surprised to see some updated gameplay. Furthermore, according to Xbox’s recent tweet, Parris Lilly and Kate Yeager will touch upon some of the new third-party titles making their way to the Xbox Games Pass.

How Gamescom 2021 will kick off and shape up

The following day on August 25th, Geoff Keighley will kick Gamescom off with Opening Night Live. The entire event will span two days and end on August 27th. While the event will take place in Koln, Germany, it will be streamed all over the world via their official Twitch channel. The opening night live is the main attraction of the event and will include gameplay trailers and demonstrations from some of gaming’s biggest developers across the two-hour stream. Konami is one of the highly anticipated developers at the event. They will share more news about the eFootball aspect of their soccer title, PES. In addition to this, there will also be more information released for Yu-gi-oh master duel.
