Grand Theft Auto V became one of the most popular action adventure-themed games since its release in 2013. This seventh installment by Rockstar Games soon stole the hearts of its fans with exciting stealth and combat skills and crazily adventurous missions. Grand Theft Auto V might release as a PlayStation exclusive, but this game was further shipped to PlayStation 4 and 5. Rockstar’s GTA V seemed also available for Xbox 360 and then Xbox One to Xbox Series X/S.
Although, Nintendo Switch equally controlled the console market, only Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy- The Definitive Edition seemed to make its way to the library of Nintendo’s Switch. However, a GTA fan dropped a massive bomb on his friends and colleagues from the fan community.

The answer is yes. However, if you are wondering whether Rockstar finally agreed to ship the game on Nintendo Switch, then it would be a wrong assumption. To date, Nintendo Switch’s library featured only the GTA trilogy, which are GTA III, GTA Vice City and San Andreas. Therefore, it is pretty clear that Switch’s official library does not have Grand Theft Auto V.
However, one YouTuber was recently spotted playing GTA V on Nintendo Switch. This technical YouTuber Geekerwan showcased the technique to install GTA V on a hacked Switch device. Fans spotted this device runs both Android and Linux together. For this improvisation, the Switch operated like a tablet with Android OS, and with Lunix it transitioned into a micro gaming device.
This YouTuber basically used his Nintendo Switch to perform like a mini–Steam Deck for gaming. Furthermore, Geekerwan was spotted playing many other games like God of War, Titan Fall 2 and Devil Cry 5 apart from GTA V. Although, it showed an impressive transition of Nintendo Switch, the process seemed quite unsafe for non-technical people.
