In a recent Twitter discussion, James Stevenson, the Community Director at Insomniac Games, gave hints that the best is yet to come. He was recently asked on Twitter, “Is the latest Spider-Man 2 gameplay footage the final build of the game?” Stevenson denied that the trailer is the final build, hinting there will be more improvements to come.

However, there is now lesser time left till the launch date. So the changes taking place would not be the drastic ones. Insomniac Games would be looking to fix minor gameplay issues and polish things out in the brief period left leading up to the launch.
This reveal from Stevenson has also silenced the haters of this game. People who were complaining about the lack of smoothness will be quiet for now, knowing this is not the latest build. The earlier build that was posted in the gameplay reveal, however, is still a masterpiece in itself. It has been stacking views and likes at an unprecedented rate.
