Hogwarts Legacy has failed to make an impact on the community. One of the major reasons for this has been the absence of Quidditch in the game. While Harry Potter fans do love to just roam around Hogwarts, they enjoy having a ride on their trusted broomsticks even more. With the option to play as a Seeker being removed from the game, many players have lost interest. However, their sadness may yet be alleviated as leaked Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions footage shows some promising gameplay.

With the upcoming Harry Potter release, Portkey Games will likely make an attempt to get back its player base as much as possible.

The footage also shows a lot of different gameplay depending on the role of the quidditch team. The 10-minute-long video also showcased character customization options. While Warner Bros.’s initial announcement of the game already had the fans’ attention, Hogwarts Legacy’s poor display only helped to enhance the excitement.

The leaked footage link was posted on Reddit, but the video is unavailable as of now. In the video, fans got a tiny glimpse of how one round of Quidditch may look and feel in the latest Harry Potter-inspired game.

Information gathered from the now-deleted video

The leaked close test footage gave away details of the different classes available for play in Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions. The user interface also suggests that an online multiplayer mode may be available for players in case they want to team up to get hold of the Snitch first. As expected, all four roles (chaser, beater, keeper, and seeker) are up for players to choose from in accordance with their abilities and preferences.

Playing different roles will also require you to adapt to the game differently and make the best of the situation. You can quick-shift your role by pressing R. A neat feature that has been added to the game is that players can bring students from different houses to form a team.

While the other roles are fairly easy to work out, you need to stay really sharp when playing as a beater. A small window of time is all you have to make sure the Bludger doesn’t get you off your broom.
