Recently, two very rare Nintendo memorabilia have been listed on eBay. These games are one-of-a-kind and very valuable as they are both unreleased in the market. That is why video game history preservationist Frank Cifaldi urged fans to buy and preserve these games if they can.
Two rare Nintendo games up for grabs at eBay
The two unreleased games that have been listed on eBay are for the classic Nintendo system NES. The first one is a prototype cartridge of a game called Battlefields of Napoleon (including all the original packaging design), and the second one is a demo of a Nintendo Power Glove game developed by Rare. The Napoleon game was never released in the western market, but a Japanese version of the game was available for the Famicom as Napoleon Senki.

The rare title was a demo sample for the Consumers Electronic Show, which unfortunately never got to be released. The former Programmer Paul Byford described it as a puzzle-solving game where the “cursor was a disembodied hand and you made different gestures to complete tasks” with the Nintendo Power Glove.
Preservationist groups like the @GameHistoryOrg usually collect games with such Historic value. But due to some financial restraints that the organization is facing, they urged the fans “with money to spare” to collect these games and preserve them.
Frank Cifaldi made a tweet saying, “There are currently TWO unreleased, one-of-a-kind, never-digitized games for the original NES on eBay right now. This has literally never happened before. Our resources are stretched thin, and we could use help.” Urging the fans for help to secure these valuable items. With a reply on the same tweet, he clarified, “Normally @GameHistoryOrg would be in a “preserve them and figure it out later” situation money-wise but it’s been kind of a rough year.”
How did fans react to this Tweet?
The fans were very curious. They asked Frank about the games and tried to gain as much information as they can. Some even talked about donating money so they can help save these precious memorabilia.
Never digitized? Isn't the content on those chips already digital?
Sorry, couldn't resist.

I wonder if this is the type of thing that @accursedfarms would be interested in. Not for buying them, just the preservation aspect.

And with the help of the fans and donations, frank informed with a tweet that they have successfully raised $4k to help secure the games.
Ok we have a system that's going well so I'll give explicit instructions:
If you'd like to throw down, DM me the amount you're able to give and I'll add you to the list. If I win one or both I'll hit you up after the fact. We're over $4k already!
