Footstep audio glitch in Call of Duty Warzone 2 is resulting in players dying instantly

During the time of the open beta phase of Modern Warfare II, many fans noticed that the footstep audio was too loud, leading to increased sound of the enemy players. However, most of the fans liked this as they could hear the opponents approaching them very clearly.

However, the same can’t be said regarding the recently released Call of Duty Warzone 2. A very famous insider and streamer, Modern Warzone on Twitter, posted a tweet mentioning how bad the footstep audio is in the 2022 battle royale. So much so that he couldn’t hear the movement of some guys sprinting at him at full speed during a match; as expected, it resulted in his death.

Yes, the streamer mentioned that the reason for him not being able to hear the footsteps could be due to active “airstrikes or other killstreaks” but in general, he seemed to be upset with the overall inconsistency. Maybe it’s a game-breaking, serious bug that the developing team should notice sooner than later.

Meanwhile, other players of Warzone 2 also echoed similar thoughts while replying to Modern Warzone. Most of them agreed on the point that the footstep audio is somehow not clear in certain moments.
