The new rumors that have come to light suggest that TimTheTatman and Nickmercs are going to be COD’s new content creator operators. As reported by ModerWarzon, this is a rumor according to the newly datamined files. Both YouTubers have a wide reach of audience and this action could prove beneficial for Activision. This step looks a lot like Ninja being added in Fortnite.

These YouTubers were responsible for the early boom of Warzone. Although the content creators do not play COD regularly now, they were the faces of the game in the past. If these rumors are true, they will join Durant and Nikto as new operators coming in Call of Duty Season 3 Reloaded and Beyond.
But as Nickmercs has switched over to Apex Legends and TimTheTatman is playing other FPS games, there seems to be a state of confusion among fans. Many are stating Scump deserves the skin more. They have taken to Twitter to troll these new operators.
Fans are not happy with the rumored COD Operators
This decision has made many fans bitter. They have called out Activision for not heeding what they wanted and looking at this as a way to gain reach from these content creators.
Nickmercs is always playing Apex, why would they chose him to get an operator instead of the streamers that have been playing COD everyday since the game came out? Because he has more viewers? Not sure if that’s a good decision.

Trying to get them and their audience back on the game.

Fans have especially criticized Nickmercs. This was due to the Apex Legend Pro having some harsh words to say about Call of Duty. Inclusion of him as an operator has triggered many fans.
Nickmercs has literally said anybody that plays Warzone needs to get a grip and bro is getting his own skin💀

Tim is understandable but man adding Nickmercs as a skin is a MAJOR slap to face of other Call of Duty creators. Bro hasn’t even played the game much in a year+ 🤦🏻♂️
Creators like @Dysmo & @Jev for example that actually play and promote COD deserve opportunities like this so much…— TKO (@TheseKnivesOnly) May 4, 2023

In conclusion, fans are asking to include other COD content creators in the game. This may be possible in new season updates. Till then, fans can only wait for Activision to hear their pleas.
