The DMZ mode is receiving a big overhaul in Warzone 2 Season 3.

Since its grand release last year, Call of Duty Warzone 2 has witnessed some crucial transitions, based on what players like. When it comes to its new extension in the form of DMZ, then it has also gone through a phase of changes lately. Seems like the extraction-based content will continue to witness even more visible changes going forward.

With the arrival of Season 3, Warzone 2 devs will roll out massive features to DMZ. In other words, the mode will be packed with multiple elements that will likely keep more players engaged. Simply put, there will be various things to do and craft in this unique mode.

All major changes revealed for Call of Duty Warzone 2 DMZ in Season 3

Firstly, there’s the Barter that will be revealed in DMZ in the new update. When reaching a Buy Station, players will now also have the option of Bartering. This is where they will be able to use the Recipes. “These give instructions to your Operator, including a component list, in order to build new equipment that can be more useful to your current situation,” reads the official description from a recent blog.

Next up is the introduction of Workbench in Call of Duty Warzone 2. With this, players will be able to modify attachments of their Contraband weapons. They will be required to pay a nominal fee for this purpose. Having this feature will definitely prove to be helpful. That’s because the users will be able to utilize their weapons well, according to a given situation or mission.

Warzone 2 DMZ will also unveil Active Duty Operator Slots. “At the start of Season 03, every player will have three Active Duty Operator Slots, which equates to three separate Operators that have their own on-soldier items. These items include your Backpack, Plate Carrier, Killstreaks, Self-Revive, and Gas Mask”, reads the official blog description. In simple words, one can now use more than one Operator going into a DMZ match.

Moving onto Backpacks, players will get the option of having Secure and Scavenger backpacks. Furthermore, there will be new Plate Carriers as well that will be seen in the extraction-based mode. Players will have the Tempered vest, Medic vest, Comms vest, and Stealth vest, offering different benefits as their names suggest.

Apart from the aforementioned changes, there will be a new Faction as well. Currently, the name of this faction is REDACTED and will be revealed later when the Season 3 update is out. Players will receive three of its mission tiers at the start of the next season, while two more will arrive midseason.
