Activision’s Call of Duty has been going through a tumultuous time right now. Receptions from the players are getting more and more negative, while active-player counts are dropping by a staggering amount. Among the complaints, the most common was the minimap issue. Players desperately miss the traditional minimap with a red dot identifying their position. Even small online lobby nuances such as sprint cancel and reload cancel are also highly missed by fans in the newer titles.

Overall, what fans want the most is the classic Call of Duty experience. All the new titles may be packed with modern touches and technologies, but to the loyal fans, nothing beats a good old game of Call of Duty. This sentiment is very apparent in most of the negative comments on the internet, as many fans have written, time after time that, the new CoD lacks one of the most important aspects. Fun.
