So far, this is the most obvious list of MW3 characters arriving in the upcoming Campaign. Upon its release, however, the story may reveal few more faces in the series. That’s something players will be able to find out only after completing the story mode.
What to expect from Modern Warfare 3’s Campaign mode?
The single-player experience will pack a solid punch this time, compared to last year’s installment. Modern Warfare 3 will receive a unique feature called Open-Combat Missions for several quests. It will basically enable the players to take a creative approach in order to complete a given mission. They will be able to craft unique tactics and loadouts to accomplish their objectives. Quests having this feature won’t necessarily follow a linear pattern of going through a mission – the design will feel more open-world this time.

When it comes to the setting, MW3 will also bring back the fan-favorite map, Verdansk. The beloved region, which was initially introduced in 2019’s rebooted Modern Warfare and later removed from Warzone, will return in 2023. However, its presence is yet to be fully explained. According to reports, it will appear briefly for selected missions only.
