Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Beta has been live for the past few days now. Given that it’s a pre-release build, it’s also bound to contain unexpected errors and issues. Recently, many players have complained regarding Operator Visibility, Spawn Selection, and an inevitable delay while Slide Cancelling. Acting on the situation almost instantly, the devs at Sledgehammer have now come out with a response to all the major problems in the Beta.
Well, that’s quite amazing to see, especially given the fact of how Call of Duty: MWII’s Beta period was. One, where despite players’ feedback, the devs hardly made any changes whatsoever. But in the case of Modern Warfare 3, it looks like Sledgehammer’s team has decided to not let down the fans on any front. It becomes evident from the studio’s latest update on social media, after the end of the first Beta weekend.

Then, there’s the traditional Campaign mode. It will continue the story from last year’s Modern Warfare II featuring the members of Task Force 141, led by Captain Price. This time, however, the single-player format will also receive a new feature called open-combat missions. Sledgehammer’s team has worked on it to give a different approach to the way players complete a given quest. Now, they will be able to craft unique strategies in order to finish certain missions, similar to open-world games.
Oh, and there’s also the Zombies mode. Being set in a massive area of Urzikstan, the open-world mode will follow a PvE format. Players will be tasked to either form teams or go solo against hordes of the undead. They will have to finish narrative-based quests, loot items, and then extract successfully.
