As the end of the year rolls near, the last batch of releases is all set to close the year with a bang. From racing giant Need for Speed to the hyped horror adventure Callisto Protocol, the last months of 2022 are going to witness some massive releases. 

This year had been an exciting ride in terms of games. At the beginning of the year, the gaming world was dominated by FromSoftware’s magnum opus Elden Ring. And as the year progressed, many amazing titles graced the player all around the world. Phenomenal games such as Stray, A Plague Tale, the recently released masterclass of Gaming God of War: Ragnarok, and the highly anticipated Pokemon Scarlet of Violet gave all the fans a magnificent time.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

Warhammer 40K: Darktide is the upcoming FPS game set in the grim dark world of Warhammer. It is being developed and published by Fatshark. It is planned to be released for Microsoft Windows on November 30, 2022. There hasn’t been any confirmed date for the Xbox release but the devs have confirmed it to release “shortly after” the PC release. 

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution

The upcoming second chapter of the popular Zombie VR FPS game The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution is set for release on December 1, 2022. It is being developed and published by Skydance Interactive. This new chapter will continue the story from where the first game left off. 

Marvel’s Midnight Suns

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is the latest game by Firaxis Games. It is a tactical RPG set in the Marvel Universe. The game will feature some well-known comic book characters such as Doctor Strange, Venom, Deadpool, Storm, Wolverine, and many more. It will release on December 2, 2022. 

The Callisto Protocol

The world of horror games is about to receive a revolutionary title by the end of 2022. The Callisto Protocol is developed by Striking Distance Studios and published by Krafton. It is a highly anticipated horror game that is set for release on December 2, 2022. The game is expected to bring lots of new aspects to the genre.

Need for Speed Unbound

Developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts, Need for Speed: Unbound is one of the biggest racing game releases of the year. It is the twenty-fifth installment in the Need for Speed series. The game is highly anticipated, and it is set for release on November 29, 2022.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII-Reunion

The Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII-Reunion is the remaster of the beloved PSP game. It is a sequel to the legendary Final Fantasy 7. The story focuses on the backstories of the characters who made their appearances in the FF7. The game will release on December 13, 2022.
