Grand Theft Auto VI is undoubtedly one of the most hyped and anticipated games of recent times. Ever since the news of an upcoming entry in the mainline GTA games surfaced, the internet has been covered with rumors and “leaks,” as the fans were desperate for every crumb of information they could get about the game.
Even though there have been a lot of “gameplay leaks” and leaks of other vital aspects of the game, the dev studio of the game, Rockstar, is still reluctant to make any official reveal. Tired of waiting around, a YouTube channel and avid fans of the series, 12th Hour, took the responsibility into their own hands and made a fan-made GTA VI trailer.

12th Hour is known for its RTX projects, where the creators put hours of production and effort into rebuilding popular PC and mobile games into realistic engines. Previously, they had worked on projects like Subway Surfers, Angry Birds, and more. This time, with all the resources, 12th Hour has managed to create something incredible.
On their official channel, 12th Hour, they posted a 3-part series sharing the behind-the-scenes story of making their upcoming fan-made trailer for GTA 6. This may be a fan-made project, but the amount of effort and production cost is way higher than any other indie project. From cutting-edge Mo-cap to hiring professional VAs, the YouTubers have pulled no punches.
In the last episode of the BTS series, 12th Hour showcased the nuances they have been working on. The lead shared about spending around $100 in order to hire a professional voice actor who will perform some of the dialogue of the characters present in the trailer. They also shared how they have used extensive Mo-cap technology in order to create a heist section.

Besides professional VAs and elaborate heist sections, the team has also given attention to the community’s demands. Due to fan demand, 12th Hour added chrome cars to the trailer. Chrome cars were present in GTA 5, and owning one was considered a major flex. But they took it to a new level and created a chrome car with never-before-seen clarity. It took around 30 seconds to render each frame of it.
