Larian Studio’s Baldur’s Gate 3 has received much praise from fans since its official launch. Following this appreciation, it has also become the second biggest Steam launch of the year with more than 400K active players of the game. Barbarian
Barbarian is a character class in Baldur’s Gate 3. This class refers to fierce and brave melee warriors in the game, who can join a battle with enough rage. It will offer a damage resistance bonus and advantages on strength-related combats, and will also offer better resistance from magic, poison or any other elements as it has both strength and constitution.Three sub-categories can be found in the Barbarian class. The primary is Berserker, a subclass of character that likes both fury and violence. The second is Wild Heart, who loves nature and beasts. Druid

Druid also offers three subclasses, which are Circle of the Land, Moon and Spores.The first subclass focuses more on the spells linked with nature. Circles of the Moon can take shapes and forms of wild animals. The final subclass category Circles of the Spores embraces the method of natural decay by using fungus, spores and mold.
Bard
Bard is one of the powerful and versatile character classes in Baldur’s Gate 3. This is basically a support class, which is witty enough to make powerful allies. Bards can also charge enemies with magical spells. However, the main aspect of Bard’s character in the game is its charisma.
Bard also offers three subclass categories. The first one is the College of Lore, which defines knowledge, truth and beauty. Then there is the College of Valor, which propagates the stories and deeds of heroes. The last subclass category is College of Swords, which offers weapon-related combats and stunts.
Fighter
As the name suggests, this character class offers outstanding efficiency in combat by wielding various armor and weapons. Strength is the main USP of the Fighter class in Baldur’s Gate 3. The three subclass categories under the Fighter class are Battle Master, Eldritch Knight and Champion.
Battle Master offered tactical and specialized combat skills, whereas Eldritch Knights combined spellcasting with martial arts. The final subclass champion used the power of physics to bring difficult combat skills. From the name of the class category, fans of Baldur’s Gate 3 can relate that the Fighter category specializes in combat skills more than magic.
Monk
Monk is a special character class in Baldur’s Gate 3, which offers to harness spirituality and physical powers through martial arts and ki. Wisdom is the main USP of this class. Similar to other character classes, Monk also has three subcategories, which are the Way of the Open Hand, Way of the Shadow, and Way of the Four Elements.
Way of the Open Hand offers full control of the enemies through combat, whereas Way of the Shadow is about shadow manipulation and mastery in stealth combats. Way of The Four Elements brings powers from the elements.
Rogue
Rogue is a class category in Baldur’s Gate 3, which masters reflex, stealth, and managing devastating in-game damages. Dexterity is the main character USP of this class category. The Rogue class offers three sub-categories, which are thief, trickster, and assassin.The first subcategory masters in stealth and quick activities, and the second subcategory is known to blend magic with rogue characteristics. The third subcategory is an expert in combat and target elimination through surprise attacks on enemies.
Paladin
Paladin is another class category in Baldur’s Gate 3, who are known as the protectors of truth and righteousness. This class category offers strength as its main power. Paladin also offers three subcategories, which are Oath of Devotion, Oath of Ancients and Oath of Vengeance. The first subcategory will focus on honor and virtue, and the second one will follow nature and light. The last subcategory will offer retribution against the evil in the game.
Cleric
Clerics are a class category of Baldur’s Gate 3, which specializes in calling the gods, and wielding divine magic. Clerics offer wisdom but they are also prone to the power of healing. There are three subclasses for Clerics in Baldur’s Gate 3. The first subclass is the Domain of Devotion, which focuses on virtue and faith. The second subclass is the Domain of the Ancients, which offers natural elemental order against dark powers. The third subclass is the Domain of Vengeance, which believes in seeking retribution against evil.
Ranger
Rangers in Baldur’s Gate 3 are expert hunters with skills in both melee weapons and combats. Like the Rogue class, Ranger also offers dexterity as the main USP of the class. Rangers also offer three subclasses, which are hunter, gloom stalker and beast master.
Sorcerer
Sorcerers in the game possess magical abilities. Charisma is also their character USP. Sorcerers have bloodline-dependent subclasses, which are Wild Magic (believes in chaos and unpredictability), Draconic Bloodline (receives power from the ancestry of the dragon) and Storm Sorcery, a class that receives power from thunder and lightning.
Warlock
In Baldur’s Gate 3, Warlock is a class that offers players to gain magical powers from supernatural entities. Like Sorcerer, Charisma is also their USP. Warlocks have three subclasses, which are The Fiend, The Great Old One and The Archfey.
Wizard
This class in the game is a master of learning spells through many endeavors. Intelligence is the USP of wizards in the game. Wizards have school subclasses for specializing in different kinds of magic.
