And now fans can finally see this video game in a completely new avatar. Directed by Emma Tammi, Five Nights at Freddy’s movie was released under Blumhouse Productions with Scott Cawthon Productions. Scott Cawthon is the original creator of this famous video game franchise. While the budget for the film was $20 million, it achieved $39.5 million on its domestic opening day.

And it is a remarkable success for a video game-based movie. Not just that but this great box-office revenue presents Five Nights at Freddy’s movie as the second-best 2023 Fall opening after Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour!

But this is not the end of Five Nights at Freddy’s success. This is because aiming $78 million on the domestic opening weekend, Five Nights at Freddy’s marked one of the largest Halloween week openings and one of the largest horror openings as well.
