Warzone 2.0 will be a brand new experience, compared to its predecessor which has become one of the most popular battle royale titles since its 2020 launch. During Call of Duty NEXT, the makers also introduced a completely new map for the players. It will be the biggest one yet and is named Al Mazrah.
Call of Duty fans are excited for Al Mazrah’s debut in Warzone 2.0
The hardcore lovers of Warzone still miss the one and only, original Verdansk. There’s no doubt about the fact that Verdansk is very close to the hearts of many players who first saw it in 2019’s Modern Warfare and then explored it extensively following the debut of Warzone.
But now, it’s time for a new area to be explored and Activision has already revealed it in the recent CoD NEXT. While unleashing tons of fresh changes and the arrival of amazing features in Warzone 2.0, Call of Duty‘s team also introduced the map of Al Mazrah. It will be the main attraction of the upcoming battle royale. Not to mention that it’s going to be the biggest map so far as well.

Following the reveal of Al Mazrah, a lot of Call of Duty fans came up with their thoughts on social media. Players dropped their opinions and early impressions by looking at the BR map. Going by the reactions so far, most of the fans seem to be happy and excited about Al Mazrah’s arrival. Some of them even think it’s way better than Caldera already.
Here are some of the reactions from Twitter:
this map looks WAYYY better than the original, never played the other ones besides Rebirth but this has a lot of iconic locations in it and the aesthetic is a lot nicer. Everything I've seen from this game has been absolutely incredible, sets the bar higher and higher

Map looks good (better than Caldera) but I’m overall concerned for the game as a whole. I feel like we’ve gone backwards on some QoL things like looting, armour plates & buy stations. No loadouts have a lot of people worried. Maybe if they return & remove the perks from WZ2?

Looks like actual thought has gone into it, lovely to see. Hopefully observatory only has angles on the local area and it might be a decent map. Any word on swimming?
