Sony has just scheduled an announcement video for its much-anticipated collection of Inzone products on its YouTube channel. So, the speculations and leaks loitering for the past few weeks were indeed true. In addition, a notable industry informant gave an indication of Sony’s exciting new collaboration with a favorite FPS game, Valorant.
A Sony x Valorant tease would definitely give a fan hope about an upcoming Valorant console port. As most of us know, Riot Games has confirmed an upcoming mobile port for the tactical FPS reportedly in the beta phase at the moment. However, the team never confirmed a console port before.

In an interview with Anna Donlon, Executive Producer of Valorant, back during the game’s launch, Donlon had affirmed the presence of a console prototype. However, according to her, if the game doesn’t translate well on a console, there’s a chance Riot may scrap the idea altogether.
Leaks suggests an upcoming collaboration between Valorant and Sony
Tom Henderson, a reliable source, had previously shared speculations about an upcoming line of hardware products from Sony. The lineup is expected to reveal three new headsets and two gaming monitors. As of now, his predictions are slowly turning out to be true!
As mentioned before, Sony has put up a scheduled YouTube video carrying the title ‘Sony Showcase of New Products’. The video is set to air on June 29th at 6:00 AM JST.

In addition to this, Tom Henderson has revealed that an anticipated new ‘PS5 Pro’ controller will not feature in the upcoming showcase. However, it is definitely expected to feature some exciting new hardware alongside an announcement for Sony x Valorant, as confirmed by Henderson’s sources.
Update – The PlayStation 5 "Pro" controller won't be revealed at the event, sources confirm.

We know that the Sony x Valorant partnership speculation gives out a strong vibe of an upcoming console port announcement. However, Henderson’s sources shunned such a possibility.

I also asked if this means if Valorant is coming to PS5 and was told no (or at least not announced at the event), so I'm assuming this is more of an "INZONE is the official headset/monitors for Valorant" or whatever.

Henderson states that the partnership could just be about Inzone Headsets and Monitors brilliantly catering to Valorant’s hardware requirements. As fans, we cannot stop imagining Valorant-inspired hardware, much like Spider-Man had his PS4!

Speculations suggest that the upcoming ‘Inzone’ gaming monitors will feature high frame rate support, low latency, and more. In fact, PlayStation consoles are not powerful enough to utilize such a monitor’s full potential. As fans speculated, Inzone was Sony’s idea to enter the PC market.
