As is already known, the title will be the first installment in the ninth generation of the Pokemon gaming series. Players will explore a vast open-world filled with spectacular views and overall design.
Recently, famous YouTuber and Nintendo fan Zach, from SwitchForce, uploaded a video dropping tons of fresh leaks for the game.
As per the newest information, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will feature a major mechanic, which will be a first for the entire franchise. The next Pokemon entry will take inspiration from several old and dropped ideas. Simply put, there’s a main new gimmick, currently described as “similar to job changing from Final Fantasy but with types”, told Zach.
It implies that players will be able to, somehow, swap in and out the various Pokemon types. This will make them better suited for different battles. Right now, it’s yet to be known how Scarlet and Violet will accomplish this mechanic.

Furthermore, the game will also reportedly see the debut of a new way of catching the Pokemon. Sadly, though, what it will be is not yet known in any capacity. Hopefully, it will be a refreshing change from Arceus and not just be a copy of it. Because then it will make no sense to release a brand new game altogether.
