Fans of the popular franchise have been hoping for an open-world RPG title for a long time, and finally, that wish has been fulfilled. Community leaker states more Pokemon titles are being worked on in 2022
A prominent leaker for Nintendo titles, markomaro, shared a lot of amazing information about the future of the franchise. According to his Twitter posts, developers are currently looking to churn out more content for Legends Arceus.
Moreover, Detective Pikachu 2 might be coming with a sequel for Pokemon Let’s go, and more. Lastly, a surprising new title in Pokemon Pinball is also being steadily worked on, which could be released in 2022.

Soon we will enjoy things like Detective Pikachu "2" (With the first one most likely), Extra content for Arceus or sequels for Let's Go. Also Pokemon Pinball is one of those games that is very close to make a comeback (that i mentioned while ago) and Pokemon Stadium from N64.

In addition to this, Switch users can also get a chance to experience the age-old classic titles of Pokemon. Titles from the Game Boy family of systems and more will definitely serve as fantastic additions. Lastly, an update for Gen 9 might not be slated to release this year, and fans might have to wait till next year for it to materialize.

About gen 9 it doesn't look like is coming this year but a small tease of a 2023 release is possible since the game is at the medium cycle of development.
