2K’s upcoming tactical RPG is a much-anticipated experience among Marvel fans. In fact, enthusiasts had a hard time accepting Midnight Sun’s delay back in November 2021. The initial release was slated to happen by early 2022 but was delayed to the second half of the year.
2K had also mentioned earlier in 2021 that Midnight Suns will be available on PC, Xbox, PS, and Nintendo Switch. However, a new bunch of leaks suggests either a cancellation or a delay of the Nintendo Switch version.

A journalist named Nils Ahrensmeier took to Twitter to share some of the revelations he came across a few hours back. His thread included pictures of in-game content, including premium skins and editions, and also a possible release date. However, the leaks suggest that there may not be a Nintendo Switch version, much to the disappointment of fans who were eagerly waiting for one.
Now that we’ve hit June, fans were definitely expecting an official announcement for Midnight Suns. Instead, fans got a whole bunch of intriguing leaks. This triggered further speculations regarding two mysterious characters in the game’s roster that 2K planned to reveal at launch.
While most fans are looking forward to meeting Spider-Man and Scarlet Witch as the mystery reveals, some die-hard comic book fans have expressed major anticipation for Moon Knight. All of these don’t matter for Nintendo fans if they don’t get to see the game at all!
Will Nintendo fans get to play Marvel’s Midnight Suns?
In his Twitter thread of leaks, Ahrensmeier mentioned having come across a picture of the platform versions. He did attach the screenshot to the post, but it was removed due to a copyright claim from the holder. Then again, Ahrensmeier pointed out that the removal of the leaked pictures only confirmed this speculation more.
SCOOP: As @_Tom_Henderson_ already predicted, 2K is gonna start pre-orders for Marvels #MidnightSuns soon. Launch date seems October 6th. There will be three versions: Standard, Enhanced and Legendary.

Since all the pictures were eventually removed, the above post may seem rather useless. However, by that time, others took the liberty to repost the leaks (thankfully).

As you can see, there’s no Nintendo Switch on the list. But fans can still keep some hope within them. The title could be delayed, if not canceled. However, we agree that a delay is also disheartening at this point. As of now, the expected release date for Midnight Suns is October 6, 2022, according to the leaks.

It is important to note that the above is just an unconfirmed leak. Plans could eventually change, and Nintendo fans may ultimately get to play the game as intended. However, the leak has definitely created major uncertainty among fans. Will Nintendo Switch even get Marvel’s Midnight Suns?

Historically, we have seen developers neglect Nintendo Switch developments even though the platform’s user base is growing stronger day by day. It would be a major disappointment for Nintendo fans anticipating Marvel’s Midnight Suns if 2k doesn’t intend to keep its promises!
