A datamine could reveal what Nintendo has in store for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Nintendo announced the Course Booster Pass DLC at their February Nintendo Direct event. This massive announcement meant the game would receive a whopping 48 additional courses! Effectively doubling the current roster of tracks. The Japanese video games giant would release said tracks in several waves, the first of which has already arrived. And fans are having a hard time containing their excitement.
However, this wave delivers on more than just fresh courses on which to enjoy your favorite Mario Kart. It also brings new information about the DLC’s future. Dataminers have discovered a revised banner in Version 2.0.0., and it reveals some brand new courses.

According to reporting by Nintendolife, a plethora of tracks have been unveiled during the datamine. These include Sydney Sprint, New York Minute, and LA Laps from Mario Kart Tour, the DeNA developed mobile game for Android and iOS. Additionally, Koopa Cape and Maple Treeway from Mario Kart Wii would also be present.
Other notable tracks are Mario Circuit and Vanilla Lake from Super Mario Kart, and the evergreen Rainbow Road from Mario Kart 7. These tracks are taken from a variety of titles and even platforms, ranging from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System from 1990 to modern Android, making Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a true amalgamation of what the franchise has offered over time.
