Ever since Activision confirmed the upcoming Call of Duty 2022 title being a sequel to the 2019 COD: Modern Warfare, the entire community’s looking forward to it. And as expected, various rumors have already begun surfacing. Speaking of which, this title is likely to feature some remastered maps from previous COD titles. According to trusted rumors, the title will inherit some maps from Call of Duty 4, COD: Modern Warfare 2, and COD: Modern Warfare 3.

Moreover, one popular gaming entity has shared the same on Twitter. And the origin of these trusted rumors is still unknown. In fact, nobody knows which all maps will debut in this upcoming COD 2022 title. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II 2022 featuring maps from old COD games is undoubtedly good news. And if these rumors turned out to be true, then it’s only a matter of time as the devs will themselves officially confirm the same.

On 23rd March (Wednesday), Call of Duty WWII News mentioned it on Twitter.

 

The tweet also features the image of the “Dome” map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. And no doubt the entire community would be delighted to experience this fan’s favorite map along with other maps in the upcoming COD 2022 title.

In fact, it’s the map’s remastered version that’s further icing on the cake. This means the old maps will get a new makeover by integrating modern-day technology.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II 2022- release window and supported platforms

The entire community has just one question- when they’ll get to experience this upcoming game? As of now, it seems like the title’s still under the development phase. And the devs and publishers are yet to announce the title’s exact release date. But it’s a little relief as the title has got this year’s release window.

Infinity Ward is the official developer of the title. And when it comes to the supported platforms, the devs have released no details regarding it as well. But it’s likely that the title will support all the 9th and 8th gen consoles along with PC. Like PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S, and Microsoft Windows.
