GTA V is one game that has amassed a cult following of its own, even though it falls within the open-world saga from Rockstar. Ever since its original debut in 2013, the title has grown unlike any other entry in the franchise history.

That’s the reason why most of the players who love this series spend most of their time enjoying GTA V. Along with its super immersive virtual atmosphere, there’s one more reason why fans adore it the way they do. It’s the character of Franklin Clinton, played impressively by American rapper Shawn Fonteno aka Solo.

The rapper joined the iconic gaming saga back in 2013 when he decided to do voice over and motion capturing for the fifth entry’s main protagonist. Franklin Clinton is one of the three central characters of GTA V. Although it’s been almost nine years since the game released, Fonteno’s character has been the most popular one to say the least.

His interaction and iconic dialogues with various NPCs in GTA V are still widely used across the internet. Simply put, Shawn Fonteno has now become a legend in Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto history. It will be hard for any new actor, with upcoming installments, to top Franklin’s stature.

Recently, the voice actor and rapper shared a sweet post on his main Twitter account, re-igniting the memories for GTA fans. He revealed various cover pictures from the game and asked the fans to choose one.

To begin with, there were some real contenders but the one that, obviously, stood out was the image featuring Franklin and Chop. Well, fans voted for this picture the most since it has also become quite iconic throughout the years.

Many of them were simply in awe of the character standing in all his glory along with the adorable dog.
