Darren Jason Watkins Junior, aka IShowSpeed, is probably the biggest name when it comes to streaming. This American streamer is famous for his hilarious and crazy FIFA, Fortnite, Minecraft, and Roblox streams. He is famous for his rapping, songs, and crazy reaction videos as well. On the other hand, Olajide Olayinka Williams “JJ” Olatunji aka KSI is a streamer as well; side by side, he is a boxer, vlogger, entrepreneur, and rapper too. This British YouTuber is also the co-founder of the famous British YouTube group “Sidemen.”

IShowSpeed and KSI—these two are crazily popular in the entertainment industry. But things go way crazier when these two popular faces collide with each other. After a harsh collision, it seems the collision might have shown Speed the path to success.

In the world of entertainment, the banter between IShowSpeed and KSI is nothing new. Be it Speed leaking KSI’s phone number or KSI mocking Speed with the number of Ballon d’Ors of the two GOATs of soccer, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, the latter being Speed’s idol,

In 2022, IShowSpeed mainly got his breakthrough in his streaming career. But compared to that, his first semester of 2023 was quite dry. He also got some really great projects, but he mostly limited himself to streaming. The biggest deal he got at that time was the Rumble Contract from his friend Kai Cenat.

Amidst this situation, KSI had some words for the American YouTuber. In a podcast back in June 2023, while being asked about IShowSpeed and his future plan, JJ stated this: “I don’t know man, I think we miss him honestly. Bro, he’s fallen off. Let’s be honest. Back in the day, last year, he was everywhere. Now, he just stinks.

Speed’s Array of Success After This

After this incident, things might have turned 180 degrees for IShowSpeed. Not only did he regain his 2022 aura, he surpassed it and did it in style. Just one month after being criticized by KSI, Watkins hit 18 million subscribers on YouTube in July. Not only that, it took him just two weeks to go from 17 million to 18. Adding fun to it, one month after that, Speed surpassed Sidemen in terms of subscribers in August.

These were just about his streaming career. IShowSpeed made his dream come true, coincidentally, after KSI’s reaction. Speed finally managed to meet his idol, the Portuguese soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. This didn’t look easy, as it took several efforts to meet him until he finally met him.

While supporting Ronaldo at a friendly soccer match between Al-Nassr and Paris Saint-Germain, he got to meet the famous Brazilian soccer superstar, Neymar Jr. The story doesn’t end here; on the stands, he met with famous American media personality Kim Kardashian too.
