The Xbox and Bethesda Showcase is live with some exciting games being announced. Amongst the list of some highly anticipated titles, one that stood out distinctly, was the return of Forza Motorsport to PC and Xbox Series consoles.
This will be the eighth entry in the series, which was previously halted even after an apparent announcement in 2020. Microsoft usually follows the pattern of releasing Horizon and Motorsport games alternately. However, they released Horizon 5 last year, breaking this pattern.

Forza Motorsport 8 developers claim it to be the most technically advanced racing game
As it is already evident from the trailer, the developers Turn 10 have left no stones unturned to create a masterpiece out of Forza Horizon 8. There are additions of some incredible tech such as on-track ray tracing. If you compare it to Sony’s Gran Turismo 7’s ray tracing during replays, Forza is obviously the steal of a deal. Maple Valley, a classic Forza Motorsport track, is returning with this title.
Alongside this, there are huge updates on environmental detailing, a dynamic time and weather system, 48x improvement in physics simulation, and much more. As the devs highlight, the tires and the ambience of the temperatures will change how the tires feel on different track surfaces at varying speeds.
It will also have stunning ray-tracing-powered graphics and photogrammetry-created environments packed with hyper-realistic in-game items and scenery. Have a look at this picture below which explains everything straight.

As with previous Forza games, this one focuses on realism, with enhanced vehicle damage added to all cars, with the developers saying that each individual scratch is reproduced and represented in-game.
Tire and fuel management are also coming to the series with this new, large next-gen model. This is something that many series fans have requested, and Turn 10 is providing it. This means that during longer, more intense races, players will need to pit to acquire new tyres and refuel.
