Forza Horizon 5 is all set to release on November 9, 2021, according to the official information. Forza Horizon games have always impressed their fans with better visual quality with every new entry. Based on the official trailer and gameplay video, fans have got a pretty good taste of how thrilling and good the visuals are. However, other than visuals, audio is another area in which the franchise has traditionally excelled. Forza Horizon 5 is going to be no different at all.
Fans already knew that in Forza Vista Mode there will be Ray Tracing, but now the developers have revealed that the open-world, in-demand game uses ray tracing in its audio design for more immersive audio. Not only this, but they have also added over 320 brand new car recordings to the game. Sounds super cool, right?

Ray tracing means that the game will send ray-traced audio paths to make the audio bounce off different objects in the game. These include trees, walls, buildings, ceilings, and more. So, the whole sound effect will change according to the environment and the speed of your vehicle.

Players will be able to hear the sound of the car’s engine bouncing off all the surrounding objects. This will give them the best experience with high-quality audio. For instance, if a player is driving through a town, the sound will be crisp and loud. On the other hand, if the player is through a heavy forest, the sound will be more suppressed.
There is also an additional feature coming to Forza Horizon 5 which allows the players to change the exhaust, intake, and other variety of car sounds and hear in real-time what an engine sounds like when the player makes an upgrade. This additional feature is named Audible Upgrades.
