They just used the Combat pistol and simply upgraded it on the upgrade bench using some gold. And then they showed how the pistol basically has no recoil at all. A weapon having no recoil means it does not have any kickback when it is fired.

So they go on and shoot a bunch of people with those pistols. And they even try it at a long range and it works just as well. They went on to recommend that if a player uses a pistol, all they need is a pistol and a shockwave hammer.

It also gets gradually more powerful as players keep using pistol-based augmentations.

Eventually winning the game, they actually showed how the pistol might be the most powerful gun in the game as of yet.

For those unaware Epic Games have added combat pistols to the game, a combat pistol is basically a machine pistol that fires continuously.
