This 2017 video game has presented crossovers that everyone dreamed about and those that no one would have guessed could be possible. One such crossover what when Fortnite got anime into its world.

A few months ago, Epic Games joined hands with the two anime giants, Dragon Ball Z and Naruto. Both of these collaborations got a great response from the audience. So, the developers of Fortnite decided to go for another anime crossover. It is none other than My Hero Academia.
My Hero Academia is a Japanese anime series based on a manga of the same name by Kohei Horikoshi. The story revolves around a young kid named Izuku Midoriya who wants to become the best superhero like his idol, All Might. It became an absolute hit since it was released in 2014.
Fortnite would soon welcome My Hero Academia
The final Season of Chapter 3 recently concluded a few weeks ago. Fortnite has already released Chapter 4 Season 1. Further, the new Chapter’s trailer revealed that Epic Games is set for massive collaborations ahead, including My Hero Academia. Undoubtedly, everyone would be eager to know when the shonen anime would make its way to the Fortnite lore.

A weekly Shonen Jump revealed the crossover would happen on December 16, 2022. Later, official and multiple reliable resources confirmed this date. So, looking at the release date, fans only have around four to five days in hand before enjoying this unique and outstanding crossover between Fortnite and My Hero Academia.

The characters that would be part of this collaboration would be Izuku “Deku” Midoriya, Katsuki ” Dynamite” Bakugo, All Might, and Ochaco “Uravity” Uraraka. The only confirmed character is Deku, as he appeared in Chapter 4 Season 1’s trailer.

There is a mixed reaction from the fans to this upcoming collaboration. One section of Fortnite fans is eagerly looking forward to this partnership. However, some are not impressed with the crossover. Instead, they suggested the animes they would have loved to see in this battle royale game instead of My Hero Academia.
