A large factor in keeping Fortnite popular years after its release is the fresh new content introduced on a weekly basis. A vital aspect of that is the weekly challenges Epic Games delivers for players to complete and cash in on the rewards. Although this concept has been implemented by other games such as FIFA, Call of Duty, and Rocket League, none do it better than Epic’s battle royale.
As the name suggests, weekly challenges are in-game tasks that players have to complete in order to gain XP and rewards. Every week there are seven Epic Challenges and one Legendary Challenge.
The Epic Challenges can be completed at any time before the end of the season, but the Legendary Challenge is only available for a limited time (one week) before being replaced by the next.
