Fortnite Season 7: How to Repair IO Equipment on the Island
These “IO equipment” are nothing but dual-screen monitors mounted on a tall stand. Like other item hunt quests, you’ll notice them as faint blue outlines. There are three of these and can be found on the IO bases. The chances of you getting into a fight with the IO guards are high. So it’s better to go in prepared. To complete this Epic Fortnite Quest, you only need to repair two pieces of IO equipment. But the article will mention all the Fortnite IO equipment locations.
A list of all the Fortnite IO equipment locations:
- Dinky Dish: Southeast of Craggy Cliffs
- Destined Dish: Southeast of Misty Meadow
- Deep Woods Dish: Inside Stealthy Stronghold

When visiting the IO base at Stealthy Stronghold, proceed to the main building in the IO base. You will find a door on the southern side of the building. Inside the building, players will notice a short hallway that has an entry gate and a desk. Behind the desk, you’ll find the IO equipment standing opposite the wall.
The next location is the IO base east of Craggy Cliffs. Players simply need to enter the enormous main building (with two satellite dishes) and travel to the north end of the lowest floor. There, players will notice the identical dual-monitor setup with larger orange screens and control stations mounted at the wall.
Lastly, players will get the IO equipment on the second floor of the IO base southeast of Misty Meadows. Fixing any two of these IO pieces of equipment will get players 30,000 XP. That’s pretty sweet if you ask us.
