A new Fortnite live event will soon be greeting players in the game. With the latest (and probably the last) Fortnite 17.50 update, the developers have added a live event counter to the game files, suspected to go active on Friday.

Leakers have even teased a few things concerning the upcoming Fortnite live event. It seems like the live event will finally somehow tie all the loose ends and pave the way for Fortnite Season 8. Season 7 is coming to a wrap, and we still have a lot of comprehending to do.

Fortnite Season 7 Live Event: what do leaks tell us?

Leakers have always led the way in teasing new content, but it appears quite conversely this time around. While Epic has already assured players that a new live event is on the way, data miners have not revealed anything. This has led fans to believe that something significant is in the works.

As per Shiina, a prominent Fortnite leaker, the upcoming Fortnite live event will be called “Operation: Sky Fire,” and the leaker even shared a loading screen for the same. Check it out below.

HYPEX further shared vital information regarding the event. As per the leaker, the live event countdown will appear above Corny Complex, and the countdown is supposed to emerge this Friday. Apart from this, a new LTM called the “Sky Fire” LTM has also been added. However, the mode is disabled and will only unlock when the Fortnite live event commences.

There’s a lot to expect from the upcoming live event. Dr. Slone’s plan to fend off the aliens can finally come to fruition. The abduction of Corny Complex is almost over, and it looks like the IO wants to blow up the Alien Mothership from the inside. These floating pieces have parts of the bomb strapped to them.
