The developer Epic Games recently launched chapter 3 in Fortnite, and it’s been an enjoyable experience so far. This makes sense as season 1 of chapter 3 introduced tons of new content for the fans. Like a fresh battle pass with exciting rewards, new challenges, and, the most exciting part, a new map to explore.

Also, the latest update also featured the Foundation outfit, which will arrive sometime next year. The Foundation is the popular wrestler turned actor Dwayne Johnson A.K.A. “The Rock.” No doubt, the game has attracted a lot of fresh players and the player count of the game is higher than ever.

But it looks like the devs are paying a toll, as the game is having matchmaking and login issues.

On the 17th of Dec 2021, a verified Twitter handle related to Fortnite made this announcement. This page basically shares the service-related news and updates for Fortnite.

Later on, the devs announced that the issues were resolved, but it seems like they weren’t.

Fortnite: HYPEX addresses the repeat of the problem

On the 18th of Dec 2021, popular Fortnite leaker, HYPEX shared with the fans that people were still facing login and matchmaking issues. This isn’t wholly surprising, as the game must have witnessed a sudden load on its servers because of the spike in the number of players.

And it’s been just a few hours since the Twitter post went live, and it’s attracted a lot of attention. Hopefully, the devs will fix this issue in the coming few days.

Fortnite has been at the top of the list when it comes to the most popular titles of the last few years. Some of the credit goes to Ninja, who did a stream a long time ago with famous rapper Drake. More collaborations would follow, bringing the game into the mainstream. And now, as we waltz into 2021, the game is expected to bring loads of new content and features.
