

September indeed is an eventful month, given the Live Events and plans Epic has lined up for Fortnite Season 7’s ending. Epic has an in-game Live Event- Operation: Sky Fire lined up for the Season’s ending, taking place on September 12th, 2021 at 4 pm PST.

According to teasers, Operation: Sky Fire might include Jetpacks for the players who attend the event. These Jetpacks can be used as an advanced tool to fend off invaders during the event.
In this event, the Mothership is targeting IO’s base at Corny Complex, as announced on Epic Games’ Website. The playlist for this event will go Live in Fortnite 30 mins prior to the start. Epic recommends players join early in order to avoid a disappointing experience of the game.

Jetpacks in Fortnite Event
Fortnite Insider reveals that the official Fortnite channels for the event have released a teaser with the caption “Blueprints acquired. Backpacks charged and ready”. The teaser can be seen in the following image.

This indicates that every person who attends this event will get a Jetpack to experience the best out of it. While it is not sure whether Jetpacks will continue onto the next season, it is mostly speculated that Jetpacks will remain for the event only.

Here are a few things that Epic wants its users to keep in mind while enjoying the full experience of the event.
Replays will not be available to creators and casual players. Epic has recommended using external recording software in order to capture the event.
Bars will make a comeback into the game, being a part of the Bargain Bin Wild Week. The Bargain Bin Wild Week will start on September 9th, 2021. Along with this, a Legendary Quest will also reward players for spending bars with the Final XP adding up to the Battle Pass.

Completing Epic Quests and trading Battle Stars will ensure players get prizes before the start of Operation: Sky Fire. The remaining Alien Artifacts can be gathered and traded for Kymera fashions.
