Epic Games had hit a rough patch recently. Layoffs and the underwhelming performance of the Epic Games Store cost them dearly. But they seem to have started stirring things up once again by bringing about a bunch of changes to Fortnite. Previously, the OG Season was a hot topic, and now they have brought about some major changes with OG Season 7.
Fortnite OG Season 7 is on its way, and it will bring a bunch of changes to the game. It will alter the map and add a bunch of extra items to the playfield. But players are seemingly focused on one thing: The ice biome. And as it happens, it will be smaller this time.

Epic Games changes the map of Fortnite every now and then. More specifically, these changes come with every new season and even new chapters. Sometimes things start floating in the air. Other times, whole POI’s are turned upside down; it’s a crazy game. But there’s always a reason—lore reasons. And there’s a reason for a smaller ice biome in OG Season 7 too.
According to Fortnite lore expert Scyan Epic Games, in Season 7, the ice biome was huge because it blew up due to a lightning strike. This time around, though, it does not seem to have blown up; hence, this chunk does not have any way to expand and remains significantly smaller. They also mentioned that the fire king, the ice king, and the monster will be missing from this map due to them not being brought to this world by the Ice Moon.
FORTNITE OG SEASON 7 IS TOMORROW!
Why is the ice biome so tiny?
This is because in s7 ch1 the ice chunk was brought here from Frozen Moon because of a lightning strike of Cube hitting it hard when cube blew up!

This will also change a bunch of other things in the game. Fire King not being present means no volcano, and no monster means Paradigm not having to fight the monster using the mech. And finally, Paradigm not fighting the monster means there will be no hard feelings between her and the seven.
All these changes mean Epic Games has completely wiped the slate on some previously launched seasons of Fortnite. This also opens the way for them to use these characters in a bunch of new ways. Let’s see where they go with it.

Epic Games is also featuring the Game Awards in their game.
Another way the developer is taking interesting steps with Fortnite is by allowing a whole new map themed after the Game Awards. Players can play around on that map and even win trophies; the game awards trophies, that is.
