Fortnite Insider Shares A Wild Theory About Popular Cartoon Show’s “Mecha” Skin To Return In The Game

Rick and Morty have been the show that is meta in all its shapes and forms. With its latest season premiering today, fans are hyped beyond reason to get engaged with the popular sitcom once more. But among all the various theories and connections hypothesized by fans, one unique theory also came to light. With the return of the sitcom, a Fortnite insider reportedly predicted that the battle royale game would also attempt to bring back Morty’s “Mecha” skin.

As most fans know that Fortnite is a huge supporter of collaborations, it was not a surprise that the game might try to pull off a trick like this. But is it just a rumor or is there some thought put to it?

Mecha Morty ‘might’ return to Fortnite

In a recent tweet by Fortnite insider Shiina (@ShiinaBR), she shared a wild theory about the popular Morty’s “Mecha”  might return to the game seeing the circumstances. She wrote, “Just a theory, but I think it’s possible that Mecha Morty *MIGHT* return tonight or tomorrow, considering the new Rick & Morty season premieres tonight.”

Notably, she did not confirm her theory and hinted that it is just a speculation from her side because of the timing. Regarding this, she wrote, “This is no confirmation for anything, but I don’t think there’s going to be a better opportunity than this anytime soon.”

For those who don’t know, Mecha Morty was first released in Chapter 2: Season 7 of Fortnite and is part of the Morty C-137 set. It was purchasable separately for 1,500 V-Bucks or as part of the Mecha Morty Bundle for 2,100 V-Bucks.

What might the new Rick and Morty Season bring in for fans?

Fans are hyped about what the entire season might bring to them. As the latest season might give conclusions to the evil Morty storyline and bring some closure to the Space Beth storyline, fans might expect to see a lot of crazy adventures of the unlikely team.

Apart from this fans are also speculating theories about the return of the fan-favorite character Mr. P**pyb**thole as the main character for an episode. Nonetheless, it is for sure that Jerry (Morty’s Father) and Summer (Morty’s Sister) will also find some sort of recognition from the alcoholic, genius scientist, and the main protagonist of the show, Rick.
