Fortnite Creative 2.0 is here with the power of Unreal Engine 5 backing it up. Released on March 22, 2023, Unreal Engine for Fortnite (UEFN) is Epic Games’ new release along with a customized programming language, called Verse, developed solely with Fortnite in mind. Epic Games also created a reward program for Fortnite creators to put forward their most creative work.

With this powerful tool and an incentive for reward, developers are making some ‘unreal’ maps for Fortnite. Developers and players are collaborating across cross-platforms to test and build maps together. While technical skills are needed to create maps, to test them out, players need to be in a creative mindset. And what better way to be creative than donning some cool skins?
