During Chapter 4, Season 1, the Oathbound ruled the island. The leader of the Oathbound gave the Rift Warde Stellen a mission, create a Rift Gate. All this occurred while a ‘shapeless man’ observed from a distance. With the aid of A.M.I.E and Kinetic Ore, Stellen was successful in creating the Gate. In the test runs, A.M.I.E discovered that The Scientist was in great peril, so she created a special suit and went into the rift gate. 

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2: What happened next?

Being pressured by the prospect of destruction by the shapeless being and the Ageless Champion’s eagerness, the Rift warden was forced to turn on the Rift Gate. Although the machine threatened annihilation, the Warden went ahead with the plan. But thanks to a saboteur’s manipulation, the Gate failed to stabilize. 

As a result, the Gate was destroyed, and a rift tore open in the sky. Seeing that he has nothing else to do, Warden left everything for the stars to decide. From this point, the story of chapter 4, season 2, takes place. The season opens with giant buildings making their way through the rift. 

They crush the Faulty Splits and in its place stands a new biome, which has Mega City at its center. Evie reveals that she works for the Peace syndicate. The Player soon learns that the MEGA City is from Evie’s home dimension. According to Evie, MEGA city is in grave trouble as someone is trying to start a war.

During the chaos of the War, this individual will manage to take control of MEGA City. Currently, this mysterious personality is trying its best to sabotage and spread chaos. Their favorite route for it is to mess with a syndicate and then put the blame on another. This individual recently pursued control over the Peace Syndicates data network.

This individual is revealed to be Triarch Nox. The players have to help Evie re-establish the connections. However, Evie warns players that all of their intel on the army of the Last Reality has been corrupted by Triarch Nox. According to her, a huge inter-syndicate war is about to come in the future of Fortnite! In chapter 4 Season 3 maybe?
